Analysis of the relevance between Organizational Factors and Job Burnout at Anzali Port and Shipment Organization (PSO)

Survey Abstract:
The most valuable asset of each country with no doubt is its Labor work when efficient and skillful. Human being has always been trying to overcome the needs in his lifetime. It is needless to mention that the main goal of a “Job” in human life is beyond its daily life appearance and securing basic needs. Having a Job is not only to earn, but also obviating Mental and Spiritual needs of the people.
If there is no balance between an individual’s Personality and his job Specification, there would be severe consequences such as Dissatisfaction, Body and Mind Spend, Exhaustion and at its worse condition, a Disease.
Occupation provides a feeling of Identity and produces a station or a condition to gain extra professions and chasing new challenges, as well as society promotion and incurrence or involving with a specific Group; on the other hand Occupation could endanger individuals Body and Mind health. What it means is plus the Physical Risks, it could also lead to Anxiety, Privation, Inability or Prostration in most environments.
This research is an analytical descriptive study, in order to assess Organizational Factors conditions and its relationship with personnel’s job burnout in Anzali’s Ports and Shipping Organization (PSO). In this research, 135 people who are currently working in this organization were participated by random selection method. Instrument of data collection in this research is job dwindle Questionnaire (Maslach) and Questionnaire which researcher designed for the Organizational factors.
The result of this research shows that more than 1/3 of the personnel according to Job burnout theory are in high range in all dimensions consisting of Emotional Exhaustion, Lack of Personal Succession and Depersonalization. Also according to Pearson statistical test results, there is a strong connection between the Organizational Factors – such as Structure, Salary and Wage, Leadership Style, Job Security, Culture, Workplace Environmental Health, Technology and Organization Strategy – and the Job Burnout.
